James Laster

James Laster is a founding member of Digital Vantage Point Global, LLC. James has more than 15 years of information technology services experience in both the public and private sectors, including leadership positions at:

State Attorney’s Office (Orlando, FL)
Irwin Army Community Hospital (Ft. Riley, KS)
Office of Economic Adjustment (Washington, DC)

James has provided information technology services for the government for over 13 years. He has specialized in developing and implementing solutions for a wide array of Department of Defense and other government customers. During his tenure at the State Attorney’s Office, he served in multiple capacities, including director of information technology, local agency security officer (LASO), and photographer. James was successful in engineering and implementing the acceptance of digital media from law enforcement agencies, eliminating the use of physical media (such as CDs and thumb drives) by over 85%. He established strategies that focused on delivering complex solutions to critical government missions for national security, federal civilian agencies, and state and local entities. James has a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Computer Networking from Strayer University.
